TOYS “R” US (Parsippany-Troy Hills, N.J.), acquired by holding company WHP Global in 2021, opened its flagship in Mumbai’s upscale neighborhood of Khar, designed by Ace Turtle. The 12,000-square-foot locale features displays of Geoffrey the Giraffe to guide guests around the store. Throughout its five levels, dynamic lighting highlights merchandise, statues of characters from pop culture tower over guests and interactive racetracks invite kids to play – fitting for the largest high-street Toys “R” Us store in India. — Emma Helbling
