Limited Brands Inc. (Columbus, Ohio) has been named the world's most admired specialty retailer by Fortune magazine in its annual compilation of outstanding companies in the world.

Limited achieved high marks in all nine areas considered to be key attributes of reputation in the “2003 World's Most Admired Companies” survey. The nine key attributes of reputation are: innovation; financial soundness; employee talent; use of corporate assets; long-term investment value; social responsibility; quality of management; quality of products and services; and globalness.

Fortune's annual survey identifies the World's Most Admired Companies by industry based on a survey of 10,000 executives, directors and securities analysts.
