In an IRL extension of its “Everything, Everywhere, All You Want” holiday campaign, Urban Outfitters (Philadelphia) is debuting two holiday pop-ups, one at Chicago O’Hare International Airport and the other at an as-yet-disclosed location in New York. Each activation is designed to transform high-traffic spaces into vibrant moments designed to help customers pause, play, and tap into the spirit of the season, the retailer said in a news release.

At Chicago O’Hare, travelers can step inside a UO-style lounge designed to make the holiday rush feel easier. From Nov. 19-Dec. 14 at Terminal 2, the part-igloo, part-sand castle space blends tropical styling and festive maximalism to create a moment of comfort and calm. Guests can unwind, play games, build their dream wishlists in partnership with (video editing app) Canva, and have a chance to win UO swag. Programming will also include surprise guest appearances from Gen Z’s creators and community builders.

“The holidays come with enough pressure, so our goal is to make things feel easier and spark real moments of joy along the way,” said Cyntia Leo, Head of Brand Marketing at Urban Outfitters. “We’re always focused on meeting our community where they are and for the moments that matter most. This season, that meant being a bright spot in the hustle of the holidays, whether that’s a pop-up between flights, a bounce house in the middle of the city, or a digital wishlist on Canva.”
