Vanguard Companies Announces Becoming a GMG Corrugated Excellence Company

Vanguard is taking digital print color management to the next level utilizing GMG’s unique color saving color profile technology called TurboG. These TurboG profiles provide excellent color reproduction along with properly managing ink consumption. GMG’s OpenColor provides the greatest control in color management for digital print with results that truly match conventional print. New Technology
GMG’s OpenColor, a color management software, was installed in March. OpenColor will provide Vanguard with greater print color results for both the HP C500 & HP Scitex 15500 digital presses. GMG’s TurboG ink saving color profiles will also reduce ink usage for the HP C500 thus saving the company resources and reducing its environmental footprint.

A 44” wide Epson proofer, Epson SureColor P9570, is now an additional print option for Vanguard Digital Printing. The Epson printer provides customers with a color-managed content proof within 48 hours. The Epson is profiled to match print production from both HP C500 & HP Scitex15500 on rolled paper stock that can be overnighted in a more economical shipping tube.

Using GMG’s ColorProof, the Epson P9570 is profiled to color match Vanguard Digital presses, providing the quickest response to our customers with a content proof that also represents true digital press conditions. ColorProof is considered the industry standard in proofing. The Epson SureColor P9570 is the most significant addition to the Epson photo / aqueous large format printers in many years.
