Vivaia (New York), a premium comfort-driven footwear brand, is expanding its American retail footprint, adding new stores at Roosevelt Field Mall on Long Island (opened April 27) and the Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, N.J. (set to debut in late May).

Those two locales join the Vivia’s only other brand-bearing store in the U.S., in New York’s SoHo. (In America, its shoes are also available at about two dozen Von Maur department stores.)

“The U.S. is our most important market and a key driver of our online growth, so expanding beyond New York is a natural next step,” said Jeff Chan, Co-Founder of Vivaia. “By combining strong digital momentum with physical retail, we’re able to serve more customers and bring our comfort-driven, eco-friendly products closer to them.”

The 650-square-foot Roosevelt Field Mall location is inspired by wabi sabi principles of simplicity, asymmetry and imperfection. It combines light wood-toned furniture, minimal design, and curated lighting to create a calm, natural shopping experience. (Design details on the Paramus locale were not provided.)

Founded in 2020 as a DTC retailer, Vivaia is entering a new phase of global expansion of its physical footprint, having surpassed 75 stores worldwide in 2025, with locales in Asia, Australia and Europe.
