VMSD Unveils Winners of the 2018 Excellence in Visual Merchandising and Design Awards

Presented annually during the PAVE Gala in New York, three retailers were honored with glass apples

NEW YORK | DECEMBER 6, 2018VMSD magazine unveiled its 2018 Excellence in Visual Merchandising and Design Award winners during the PAVE (Planning and Visual Education Partnership) Gala in New York, Dec. 5, 2018, at Cipriani at 25 Broadway, New York.

Each year, VMSD bestows a glass apple award to three retailers who's New York flagships and/or store designs were standouts among their peers. 

The 2018 winners included Timberland for its new flex space on Fifth Avenue; FAO Schwarz for its relaunched New York flagship; and Nike's House of Innovation 000 for its new immersive in-store experience. 

VMSD covered Timberland's latest design in the December issue, which you can read about in the digital edition of the magazine here. FAO Schwarz will also be featured in the magazine in early 2019. 

Past winners of this coveted award have included Pottery Barn, Godiva, Free People and Vera Bradley, among many others.
