Walmart (Bentonville, Ark.) continues to add regional eateries to its in-store offerings. The latest entrants: Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ (Roslyn Heights, N.Y.), which will open the first of several 2000-square-foot Crave Express Models within a Walmart in Louisville, Ky., this fall; and Knuckies Hoagies (Milton, Ga.), which plans locales in 14 Walmarts in six states.

Those moves follow recent announcements by Walmart that it is bringing in other regional favorites to bolster the local orientation of its locales, including in-store outlets by Uncle Sharkii Poke Bowl and Mr Gatti’s Pizza.

In addition to its first in-store unit in Louisville, Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ has several other units currently in development and plans to expand to more than 100 such units over the next year. The Knuckies sandwich shops, meantime, are set for Walmart stores in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Texas. (The square-footage size of those units was not immediately available.)
