Catalog at Willis Tower, a five-story dining, retail and immersive entertainment experience in the base of the 110-story building, has signed leases with eateries Cava, Mendocino Farms and Van Leeuwen Ice Cream.

“When we designed Catalog, our intention was to curate an array of offerings unique to the Loop neighborhood,” says Morgan Monroe, VP of Leasing for building manager Perform Properties, a unit of Blackstone Real Estate. “We are proud to add these three brands to the mix, furthering our commitment to delivering an unmatched experience for our tenants and visitors.”

Here’s more on those newcomers to the 300,000-square-foot Catalog, which opened in 2022 as part of a $500 million street-to-sky restoration at the 52-year-old tower:

Cava, a Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant brand that got its start in Washington, D.C., will be in Catalog’s main entrance on Jackson Boulevard. It will occupy 3200 square feet of space when it opens late this year.
Mendocino Farms, a California-based purveyor of farm-fresh, chef-crafted sandwiches and salads, will occupy a 3000-square-foot space on the Wacker Drive side of the space. Slated to open in October, the store will be Mendocino Farms’ first kiosk-supported concept.
• New York-born Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, which is known for its made-from-scratch dairy and vegan treats. Its 1700-square-foot space along Franklin Street is set to open this summer.

The above eateries join Catalog’s other dining options, including Rick Bayless’ Tortazo, Lettuce Entertain You’s Sushi-San, Sweetgreen, Shake Shack, Do-Rite Donuts & Chicken and Brown Bag Seafood Co, among others.
