The Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE) is pleased to announce that the 2020 GlobalShop Student Design Challenge has kicked off!
PAVE's GlobalShop Student Design Challenges brings together top student design talent, industry leading fixture manufacturers and retail brands for a truly unique opportunity. For the challenge, clients have presented real-life design problems to participating students who, in partnership with the manufacturers, are developing creative solutions. The best designs will then be selected by the participating retailers, built by the manufacturers and displayed in the PAVE booth (#3403) at RetailX 2020. The student designers behind the winning projects will be attending the trade show to present their work in person.
This year's teams include:
- McRae Imaging, Sheridan College and Sephora
- Visual Elements, Ontario College of Art & Design University and Michael Kors
- Bish Creative Display, University of Northern Iowa and Coca-Cola
- Bernstein Display and the Fashion Institute of Technology
A GlobalShop staple for the past ten years, the PAVE booth is a must-see for all RetailX attendees in 2020. The booth will feature an array of creative concepts including mannequins, P.O.P. displays and pop-up shops. Visitors of the PAVE booth (#3403) can expect to be met with innovation, imagination and sheer talent from this year's student designers. RetailX 2020 will be held at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois from June 9th through the 11th.
