7-Eleven Inc. (Dallas) has reported a 12.3 percent increase in sales for April 2005. Total merchandise sales were up 6.6 percent and same-store merchandise sales increased 5.7 percent.

Gasoline sales for April 2005 increased 23 percent, though average gallons sold per store decreased 0.7 percent. The average retail price of a gallon of gasoline for April 2005 was $2.28, compared to $1.84 in April 2004.
