Abercrombie Continues Middle East Expansion

Abercrombie & Fitch (New Albany, Ohio) has entered into a new franchise agreement that will allow it to open new stores in the Middle East.

The retailer has partnered with Majid Al Futtaim Fashion (Dubai, U.A.E.), with whom the retailer had previously worked with to open eight stores in the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.

Thanks to the new agreement, stores are planned for Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman, and will span the retailer’s Abercrombie & Fitch, Abercrombie Kids and Hollister Co. banners. The first stores are slated to open early next year in Qatar, reports The Columbus Dispatch.
