All in the Name

Haggar Clothing Co. (Dallas), a wholly owned subsidiary of Haggar Corp., announced that it is changing the name of its womenswear subsidiary, Jerell Ltd., to Haggar Women's Wear Ltd. The name coincides with the subsidiary's move into a new Haggar headquarters in Dallas.

The company's men's division is also relocating to the new headquarters, integrating sourcing, manufacturing, designing and marketing into one location.

“With the purchase of a six-story office building and the consolidation of operation into one location, it makes good business and marketing sense to also transition the name of our women's wear subsidiary to Haggar Women's Wear Ltd.,” says Frank Bracken, president and coo for Haggar Clothing Co. “For over 77 years, the Haggar name continues to be well-known and respected in the apparel industry. Now our womenswear subsidiary can utilize the Haggar name in the womenswear industry.”

Haggar Women's Wear is sold through Bealls, Coldwater Creek, Dillard's, Federated Department Stores, J.C. Penney, Kohl's and Mervyn's, as well as specialty stores throughout the country.
