Amazon Opens “Four Star” U.K. Store

Amazon.com Inc. (Seattle) is opening its first non-food retail stores in the U.K., according to Yahoo Finance. This will be the first store of its kind outside the U.S. for the online behemoth, located at the Bluewater shopping center in Greenhithe, U.K. More than 2000 products that have received four-star ratings on Amazon’s website will be available for purchase in the store, as well as a technology section featuring Amazon’s own devices.

Products will be rotated often based on what’s selling well on the website. Amazon currently has 30 “four-star stores” in the U.S., its first one was opened in New York in 2018.

Customers are also able to pick-up online purchases from Amazon at the store, as well as make online returns.
