American Girl Store Opens in Nashville

American Girl (Middleton, Wis.) is opening its first retail store in Tennessee at CoolSprings Galleria in Nashville, Tenn. The 9000-square-foot store will open on May 30, and is expecting more than 6000 visitors during its opening weekend, reports The Tennessean.

Customers will be able to purchase the brand’s high-end, lifelike dolls as well as a variety of doll clothing and accessories. They will also be able to take part in a number of activities offered in the store, including taking the dolls to the in-store hair salon or enjoying tea and cakes together in the bistro, which is also outfitted with doll-sized furniture.

The brand, owned by Mattel, is geared towards young girls up to age 12. Shoppers wishing to attend the opening event will be able obtain tickets at the store beginning May 30 at 7 a.m.
