Ann Taylor Brings New Concept to San Diego

Ann Taylor (New York) plans to open its redesigned store in Fashion Valley next month, marking the brand’s first new concept store in San Diego, reports The San Diego Union-Tribune.

The design, created in partnership with design firm S. Russell Groves (New York), includes whitewashed maple hardwood floors, crystal chandeliers, modern tufted furniture, a proprietary lighting system in the fitting rooms with backlit mirrors and a new layout, which divides items into sections, including a career chic shop, a petites shop and an accessories shop.

Ann Taylor began rolling out the new concept in fall 2010 in major cities across the country.
