Apple and Victoria’s Secret Hit Broadway

New Yorkers wishing for another Apple store this holiday will get their wish this Saturday when the computer retailer (Cupertino, Calif.) unveils its newest flagship on Broadway.

The store’s all-glass storefront was recently covered in a graphic of a red curtain, a familiar foreshadowing of an Apple opening. According to the Apple Insider website, the store will feature a curved glass roof design covering the rear three-quarters of the store and a glass storefront measuring roughly 54 feet tall, 75 feet wide and 30 feet deep.

The building, at Broadway and 67th, formerly housed a Victoria’s Secret. That retailer recently relocated to its new Broadway flagship in SoHo. Women’s Wear Daily reports the 24,000-square-foot Victoria’s Secret store is nearly five times larger than the retailer’s former location.
