Apple Announces First Brooklyn Store

Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.) says it will build a 20,000-square-foot retail store in Brooklyn in 2015, making it the seventh Apple Store in New York, N.Y., and Brooklyn’s first.

The tech giant already operates five retail stores in Manhattan and one in Staten Island. The new Brooklyn unit, located in Williamsburg at 247 Bedford Avenue, will be remodeled to include arched windows and a brick façade, reports ValueWalk.
