Apple Hires Tag Heuer Exec.

Fueling speculation that it is developing a wristwatch device, Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.) has reportedly hired Patrick Pruniaux, vp of sales at luxury Swiss watch maker Tag Heuer. The “iWatch,” designed to rival Samsung’s wearable Galaxy Gear device will reportedly launch in October, according to The Telegraph. Apple has not confirmed the hiring of Pruniaux, which was announced to CNBC last week by Jean-Claude Biver, president of Tag Heuer parent company LVMH (Paris).
