Limited Brands Inc. (Columbus, Ohio) has hired Ed Bucciarelli as ceo and president of its Henri Bendel division, and the newly created role of president of Limited Brands Accessories. Bucciarelli is currently group president, accessories and cosmetics, for Liz Claiborne Inc.
As ceo and president of Henri Bendel, Bucciarelli will be responsible for strategy, merchandising and operations. In the new role of president, Limited Brands Accessories, he will provide vision and strategy, as well as merchandising expertise and development direction in the creation of accessories collections for Limited Brands.

In his tenure with Liz Claiborne, Bucciarelli was responsible for a portfolio of more than 20 brands that spanned all classifications of accessories and fragrance across multiple channels and geographies. In 2001, he successfully integrated and repositioned the Monet Group acquisition by Liz Claiborne and returned the company to profitability.
Prior to Liz Claiborne, Bucciarelli held positions in design, sourcing, marketing and strategic positioning at Swank, Monet and Bloomingdale's.
