Arper’s Kata

This solid-wood seat was inspired by wood-and-woven straw chairs

Spanish creative studio Altherr Désile Park designed its first-ever lounge chair, Kata, a sustainable, solid-wood seat inspired by artisan wood-and-woven straw chairs. Its minimal silhouette features an FSC-certified oak or black locust wood frame with a textured knit cover created using recycled polyester fibers from post-consumer plastic.
