AT&T Gives the Gift of Online Shopping

AT&T has redesigned its online shopping service, Market Square. The updated site, www.att.net/shop, offers e-shoppers more than six million products and services from more than 200 retailers. Customers can sort through merchandise by category, product name, price, brand or merchant and get instant product reviews.

According to an AT&T poll of 600 consumers, 97 percent of shoppers who purchased gifts online during the 1999 holiday season plan to do so again this year. And of those who passed up the Internet shopping experience last year, 50 percent said they would give it a try this season.
