David Mangini, executive vp, merchandising, at Mothers Work Inc. (Philadelphia), has informed the company of his decision to “pursue other opportunities.” He has agreed to stay on to assist in the search for a successor and provide consulting services.
Mothers Work, the country’s leading maternity apparel retailer, said it is actively pursuing candidates for the position, responsible for the worldwide merchandising, design and sourcing activities for all five of the company’s brands – Motherhood Maternity, A Pea in the Pod, Mimi Maternity, Destination Maternity and Oh Baby! by Motherhood, a collection it makes through a licensed arrangement with Kohl’s Department Stores Inc. (Menomonee Falls, Wis.).
