After 10 years in business, Bailey44 (Vernon, Calif.) has opened its first freestanding store. The 1700-square-foot flagship is located at Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach, Calif.
The opening was postponed for six months due to delayed retail development, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
Although the brand plans to open additional California units, Bailey44 CEO Chris Tate says the Newport Beach store will not be a template for other locations. “We’re interested in building localized and customized stores,” he says.
