Bank Shot

With the opening of four new stores, Jos. A. Bank Clothiers, the Hampstead, Md., menswear retailer, is a third of the way toward its plan of 22 to 25 new stores this year. The four — in The Court at King of Prussia (Pa.), FlatIron Crossing in Broomfield (Denver), South Hills in Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh) and Chesterfield Mall (St. Louis) – brings to eight the number of new stores to open in 2001, and the total store chain to 123. The company has said its plans are to double its store count by 2003.
