Barneys Flagship Opening Soon

Barneys New York (New York) will open its New York flagship early this year in the same location on Seventh Avenue where the original Barneys store was first launched.

Smaller than the original store’s footprint, the 58,000-square-foot, four-story, remodeled store is designed by Steven Harris. It will feature a stainless-steel canopy at the street entrance and an interior spiral staircase, reminiscent of the original store.

According to Vanity Fair, when the store officially opens, it will launch exclusive capsule collections from designers such as Alexander Wang. It will also include a restaurant, beauty shop, apothecary and men’s salon.
