Bernstein Display Hires Creative Executive

Bernstein Display (Brooklyn, N.Y.) has hired Don McKnight as vp, creative development and marketing. In this new role, McKnight – who had been vp, visual merchandising at Ann Taylor Stores Inc. (New York) and visual director at Abercrombie & Fitch (New Albany, Ohio) – will oversee new product design and development, as well as all branding and marketing initiatives, for the supplier of visual presentation products. He will report directly to ceo Roger Friedman and will be based in the company’s corporate office.

“I am delighted that Don is bringing his talents and experience to Bernstein Display,” Friedman said. “His understanding of the customer experience and excellent track record of successfully blending visual merchandising and store environments to communicate a consistent brand message will further position us for success as an innovative leader in the visual presentation industry.”
