Best Buy Adopts Apple Pay

Apple ceo Tim Cook announced Tuesday that Best Buy (Richfield, Minn.) had abandoned its pursuit of the “Current-C” mobile payment system and instead will adopt Apple Pay.

Best Buy integrated Apple Pay into its iOS app today and will begin accepting it in retail stores later this year, reports 9to5Mac.

Best Buy confirmed the announcement via Twitter.
