Billionaire Bernard Arnault Sells Carrefour Shares

Luxury goods billionaire Bernard Arnault has sold out of supermarket group Carrefour (Massy, France), reports Reuters. Arnault invested in the company 14 years ago and held a 5.7 percent stake via his Financiere Agache holding company.

Arnault reportedly said in a statement: “Over the last four years, Carrefour has achieved an outstanding recovery under the management of Alexandre Bompard … After 14 years during, we have decided to pursue the reorientation of our investments.”
