Bloomingdale’s Announces Manhattan Outlet

Bloomingdale’s (New York) announced it will open a new outlet store in Manhattan this fall.

The 25,000-square-foot unit at 2085 Broadway — one of the busiest intersections in Manhattan — will be the company’s first outlet store in Manhattan and the first in a major urban center development, reports Women’s Wear Daily.

“We see Bloomingdale’s Outlet as a growth vehicle for our company as we continue to refine and roll out stores based on our learnings over the past several years,” said Tony Spring, chair and ceo of Bloomingdale’s.

Bloomingdale’s currently operates 13 outlets across the U.S.
