Bluemercury Names New CEO

Bluemercury (New York) has named Maly Bernstein as its new CEO. She will begin in her new role Sept. 13.

Based out of Bethesda, Md., she will report to Bloomingdale’s Chairman and CEO Tony Spring, and will be responsible for growth and strategy for stores and digital platforms, according to a company press release. She replaces Bluemercury Co-Founder Marla Beck who recently left the company.

Tony Spring said, “I want to thank Marla for her vision and leadership. She has steered Bluemercury’s growth for more than 20 years and has been a valued partner to the Macy’s, Inc. team.”

Bernstein most recently worked for CVS Health as its VP of E-Commerce. She also previously worked for McKinsey & Co.
