Borders Evaluates Its Toys

Borders Group Inc. (Ann Arbor, Mich. book retailer) announced it would assess its toy-store chain, All Wound Up, after receiving poor fourth-quarter results. Borders acquired the 162-store toy business in 1999. For the period ended October 22, All Wound Up accounted for three cents of the company's six-cent per-share loss. Borders is considering its options, which include either keeping the business or separating it from the company.
