Brit Seeks Partner With Ambition

A BRITISH company is looking to cement its own “special relationship” with an American partner as part of its ambitious plan to shake-up the US display system market.

MicroSlat, one of the UK's leading manufacturers of slatwall POS display systems, is seeking an international partner to help it break into the world's biggest market.

The company's extruded aluminium products have already carved an enviable international reputation for quality and strength.

MicroSlat products are specified by designers throughout Europe and the Middle East looking for the highest quality fittings.

The Darlington-based company already has a distributor in Australia and now it is looking for one in America.

Managing director Terry Dady explained: “We know our products are the Rolls-Royce of the slatwall market and I believe there is huge unmet demand across North America for a well-designed product that offers strength and innovative design.

“But in order to really sell our products into the world's biggest market we need an American partner. That's why we are looking for a collaborator who shares our vision and, more importantly, our ambition.”

MicroSlat launched in the UK 15 years ago and since then it has been used by scores of blue chip companies, including Harrods, the quintessentially British department store in London's Knightsbridge.

Designed by Mr Dady, MicroSlat systems can accommodate industry standard slatwall metal and acrylic accessories.

However, the aluminium profiles are also incredibly versatile. They can be wall-mounted or free-standing and even used as dividing panels in open-plan offices. The company also offers panels in a wide range of colours and finishes, including a wood effect.

Mr Dady said: “The only limit is your imagination. MicroSlat makes the ordinary extra-ordinary.”

MicroSlat is based at Units F13 and F14, Morton Park Way, Darlington, UK. Tel: +44 1325 351276. Web: www.microslat.com
