Burberry Bar Brings Look and Taste of London to NY

Burberry (London) is bringing its Knight Bar concept to New York with a six-day takeover of the Temple Bar. This marks the fourth installment of Burberry Streets, described by the house as “a series of takeovers that celebrate the art of discovery and exploration in cities worldwide,” Drapers reports.

The pop-up will be open Nov. 10-16 at 332 Lafayette St. in lower Manhattan.

The bar will be decorated in a newly designed red check, a seasonal twist on Burberry’s classic Nova check, and will serve a menu curated by Norman’s, a high-profile North London café, according to Drapers.

The Knight Bar takes inspiration from Burberry’s past and present, celebrating the launch of the Knight bag by Daniel Lee for winter 2023 and the newly refreshed equestrian knight design – an icon of the fashion house since 1901, the fashion business news site reports.

Previous iterations of the concept appeared earlier this fall in London, Seoul and Shanghai.
