Card Factory to Open 500 New Stores

The U.K.'s biggest greeting card chain, Card Factory (Wakefied, West Yorkshire), revealed plans this week to open 500 new stores after announcing plans for London Stock Exchange flotation next month.

The firm, which began in 1997 with one shop in Wakefield, now has 733 branches nationwide.

Card Factory told Mirror it's on track to open nearly one store every week over the next decade.
