Chanel Expanding Across the Globe

Recently named one of the best known brands in Russia, Chanel is opening a second boutique in Moscow. The 2800-square-foot store, located in the ultramodern Vremena Goda shopping mall, is designed by Peter Marino, and includes the retailer’s signature white and beige colors, marble floors and simple black furnishings. It will stock Chanel’s ready-to-wear and accessories. In a recent survey by Time magazine, Chanel was named one of the best known brands in Russia, along with Versace and Dior.

The luxury retailer will also unveil a new concept store in Los Angeles on trendy Robertson Boulevard, geared toward the street’s distinct vibe.
