Chanel S.A. (Paris) has opened a new store on New Bond Street in London.

The three-story, 12,600-square-foot store, designed by New York architect Peter Marino, is in a space previously occupied by Nicole Farhi, a few doors away from the luxury brand’s former, smaller New Bond Street unit.

According to Women’s Wear Daily,  the store “has a central atrium dominated by a giant, twisting pearl necklace sculpture by the French artist Jean-Michel Othoniel, handmade matte bronze railings around the marble staircase and furniture and walls paved with tactile tweed and boucle fabrics.”

The tony City of Westminster address is next door to Dior and across the street from Louis Vuitton’s London flagship.
