Christopher & Banks Corp. Names New President

Plymouth, Minn.-based Christopher & Banks named veteran retailer Joel Waller president. Waller, who is a former chairman and ceo of Wilsons Leather, has been working as a consultant.

His responsibilities will include merchandising, including product development, inventory, and planning & allocation, reports the Star Tribune.

The company announced this week that it expects to report an operating loss in its third quarter, and is suspending its quarterly dividend payment to preserve cash.
