Circle K Expands in Middle East

Circle K (Tempe, Ariz.) announced it will open 28 new stores in the United Arab Emirates between Abu Dhabi, Dubai and other nearby emirates this year. The move is part of an overarching plan to open 55 new units in the Middle East in 2015.

According to Circle K’s senior executives, the next two years represents a growth phase that will see the company's Middle East business grow twice as large over the period, reports AMEinfo.com. The company’s regional outlets will also introduce new products, including those that have already been launched by Circle K partners in the U.S., Hong Kong and Japan.

Circle K currently operates 38 convenience stores in the UAE, and more than 13000 worldwide.
