Coach’s Reed Krakoff to Step Down

Reed Krakoff, president and executive creative director of Coach Inc. (New York) will relinquish his duties with the company in June 2014 in order to focus exclusively on his own accessories brand. That’s when his current contract expires.

Coach said it has begun searching for a successor. It also indicated, according to Women’s Wear Daily, that it is exploring “strategic options” for the Reed Krakoff brand that “may involve a sale to a group, in which Krakoff would participate.” Coach launched the Krakoff line two and a half years ago.
