Costco, Dillard’s Top Customer Survey

The American Customer Satisfaction Index (Ann Arbor, Mich.) released the results of its latest survey that measures how satisfied customers are with different retail stores. This year, the survey found that the stores customers were most satisfied with were Costco (Issaquah, Wash.) and Dillard’s (Little Rock, Ark.), which both scored an 83 out of 100 points.

Costco has ranked as customers’ favorite store many times in the past, but this is the first time Dillard’s has earned the top spot.

Abercrombie & Fitch (New Albany, Ohio) saw the biggest increase in its score from last year, jumping from 17 percent satisfaction to 76 percent.

Across the entire industry, the survey showed that customer satisfaction has increased by 4.7 percent. This is a change from the past two years when customer satisfaction was down for the industry, reports ABC Action News.
