Crew to Atlanta

J. Crew Group Inc. (New York) is opening its new Alpharetta, Ga., store this week.

The North Point Mall store, intended to serve the greater Atlanta area, will be considered one of the specialty apparel retailer's top stores, offering both a men's and women's select collection, including summer weight cashmere, Croc Capri thongs, monogrammable Montauk Weekend totes along with items from the Swim and Beach collection. The store will also carry hand-selected limited edition styles from the new J. Crew collection, such as the hand-beaded Palm Beach djellabah.

Alpharetta will also be one of the few J. Crew stores to receive the fall collection in the beginning of July.

The store will also feature personalized monogramming and private shopping appointments to build customized wardrobes.

“We are thrilled to be opening a new store in the city of Alpharetta,” said J. Crew president Jeff Pfeifle. “Alpharetta is not only extremely family oriented, but also has the perfect mix of culture, beauty and sophistication. It's the perfect fit for J. Crew — we will be even more accessible to our customers.”
