Teen retailer Delia's has named coo Walter Killough to the post of ceo. Killough, who joined the company in 2003 working for its subsidiary Alloy brand, will succeed Robert Bernard.

Carter Evans, chairman of the company's board, said in a statement that Killough's “results-oriented management style and deep industry knowledge will be invaluable as he continues to move forward with the company's strategic initiatives.”

Killough began as a consultant for Alloy in March 2003, before becoming coo of its retail and direct consumer division from October 2003 to December 2005. His career also includes a 14-year stint at J.Crew, serving as coo and executive vp.
