Blockbuster LLC (Dallas), the movie rental chain which was acquired last month by Dish Network Corp. (Englewood, Colo.), has been given a new leader. Michael Kelly was named president of Blockbuster, Dish Network’s new subsidiary.

Kelly previously served as executive vp of the satellite TV provider’s commercial services division, and also led the company’s direct sales and media sales organizations.
