Disney Times Square Opens Tomorrow

The Disney Store will unveil its new flagship in Times Square on November 9, following two years of planning, including seven months of construction.

To celebrate the store’s opening, Times Square will close for a two-hour parade featuring the brand’s favorite characters, including Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Cinderella and Buzz Lightyear.

The new 20,000-square-foot store, at 1540 Broadway, includes a 20-foot-high Princess castle and a Cars ridemaker, as well as an entire section dedicated to Marvel comic memorabilia. A 65-foot animated billboard outside the store will show clips from movies, TV and Broadway.
