DURACO INC. AND DURACO EXPRESS REBRAND TO ESSENTRA SPECIALTY TAPES

Filtrona plc has formally rebranded to Essentra plc.  The former Duraco Express and Duraco Specialty Tapes businesses in the U.S., which had been part of Filtrona plc, are now known as Essentra Specialty Tapes, Inc.  Essentra plc, the parent company, is a FTSE 250 company and a leading international supplier of specialty plastic, fiber, foam and packaging products, headquartered in the United Kingdom. Through its four principal operating divisions, Essentra focuses on the light manufacture and distribution of high volume, essential components which serve customers in a wide variety of end markets and geographies.  Essentra Specialty Tapes, Inc. is a part of the Packaging and Securing Solutions operating division and is headquartered in Forest Park, IL.

The rebranding initiative is expected to make the local U.S. company’s product offering and organization more homogenous.  “The rebranding will provide our customers with greater visibility as to our entire range of products and services, with more coordinated communication behind a single visual identity,” states Hugh Ross, President of Essentra Specialty Tapes, Inc.

The parent company, Essentra plc, has continually leveraged the global company’s skills more effectively, and has reorganized and unified its business units for greater coordination throughout the organization. The rebranding initiative is helping the global organization accomplish these objectives as its global reach and penetration continually expands.

The U.S. website has changed from www.duracoinc.com to www.essentraspecialtytapes.com.  The former Duraco URLs will redirect to the new site automatically.  Email addresses will migrate to the essentra.com domain, although existing email addresses will remain functional for some time.  Street addresses, phone and fax numbers will remain unchanged.  The corporate website for Essentra plc can be found at www.essentra.com.
