Eckerd's New VP of Visual and Planning

Eckerd Corp., the Clearwater, Fla.-based drugstore chain, has appointed Everett Moore vp of store planning and visual merchandising. Responsible for the creation and implementation of all basic and promotional merchandising activities, including store layouts and interior design, Moore will report to the organization's senior vp of merchandising and marketing.

Moore has been with Eckerd since 1984, in a variety of positions, including store manager and district operations manager. He was most recently senior director of store planning and visual merchandising.

Eckerd has more than 2600 drug stores in 20 states (plus 1300 Eckerd Express one-hour photo labs in 18 states and three pharmacy mail service facilities in three states. The corporation's 1999 revenues were $12.4 billion.
