Ed Shikatani Joins Anthem in Toronto

Ed Shikatani, co-founder and former partner of Shikatani Lacroix Brand Design Inc. (Toronto), has joined Anthem Worldwide, Toronto-based strategic design company, as creative director. The move follows a two-and-a-half-year sabbatical for the 23-year retail design veteran.

“I took time out to travel and recharge my batteries,” Shikatani said. “[Anthem feels] very youthful, energetic and positive, the way things were when I first started in this business.”

Anthem said Shikatani will lead the design team at its Toronto office, playing “a leadership role in the creation of a retail environment-focused design practice to support [our] strategic design services worldwide.”
