D.C.-based architecture and design firm Studio3877 is thriving. Just one month after hiring team member Andrew Rozzi, firm co-founders David Shove-Brown, AIA, NCARB, and David Tracz, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, NCARB have brought a new designer on board: Eileen Vitelli.
With 15 years of experience, Vitelli’s work spans hospitality, high-end residential, and mixed-use projects in 30 countries. Prior to joining Studio3877, Vitelli managed a nationwide portfolio of select-service hotel renovations for Marriott International, and has worked at ForrestPerkins as well as the U.S. Department of State. At Studio3877, Vitelli will use her extensive interior design knowledge to create new concepts for hospitality clients while also streamlining the spec-writing process for the firm's growing portfolio. Eileen is also very involved in the industry—she will serve as the Public Relations Committee Chair for the D.C. Chapter of NEWH – The Hospitality Industry Network beginning in 2015.
A love for design and a commitment to volunteerism aren’t the only things that make Vitelli a great fit for the firm: after just a few days, she’s already become an active participant in the lively office culture that defines Studio3877. “I have found my people!” says Vitelli. “I’m happy to be working with a hive of creative types who are passionate about design, sustainability, hilarity, and listening to good music in the office.”
