Duluth Trading Co. (Mount Horeb, Wis.) has appointed Stephanie Pugliese President and CEO, effective May 5. Pugliese replaces Samuel Seto, who retired.

Pugliese spent much of her career at Duluth Trading, starting in 2008 as VP of Product and Merchandising and eventually working up to President and CEO, titles she held from 2015-19. After that, she held executive roles at Under Armour.

“We are delighted to welcome Stephanie back to Duluth Trading,” said Chairman Stephen Schlecht. “Following our initial public offering and during her previous tenure as President and CEO from 2015 through 2019, Stephanie was instrumental in leading our most successful period to date, doubling net sales and enhancing overall profitability.”

Said Pugliese: “I am incredibly excited to be rejoining Duluth Trading at this pivotal time in its journey to profitable growth. I know from my long tenure at the company spanning merchandising, marketing and leadership roles what a special brand it is.”

Duluth Trading offers casual wear, workwear and accessories for men and women. It operates about 60 stores.
