Executive Departs from Dick's Sporting Goods

Dick's Sporting Goods Inc. (Pittsburgh, Pa.) announced that Gwendolyn Manto has left her post as executive vp and chief merchandising officer, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The former Sears executive had been with the company since January 2006.

The sporting good retailer says it doesn’t plan to replace Manto’s position; rather it will reconfigure its merchandising structure under Edward Stack, chairman and ceo, and Joseph Schmidt, president and chief operating officer.
